Cigars are made from a carefully nurtured organic plant, so the appearance of that plant on a cigar box label is to be expected.  Since tobacco is the only plant involved, why are so many other decorative and / or edible plants found on cigar labels?  The answer lies in the purpose of a label: to catch the eye of someone standing in front of a cluttered cigar case with a nickel in his hand and a yen in his heart. Some of the following do that quite well. This exhibit represents a very small sample of what is available in this most enjoyable sub-collection.
